About us
A non - profit organization and public institution „VIRTUS LT“ was established in 2008 as a mediator between the representatives of public, non-governmental and private sectors to ensure consistency of efforts and to maintain political momentum in serving public needs, with particular attention to public education in culture, art, sports, healthy lifestyle, and prevention of disease and harmful habits. - It initiates public actions with the purpose to draw the society's attention to healthy way of living and cancer prevention; Virtus LT cooperates with public organizations, arranges and conducts cancer prevention seminars. - It takes care of the patients ill with different kind of oncological deseases: helps oncological patient organizations to cooperate with medical institutions and other public organizations, publishes the fact sheets on oncological deseases and medical institutions, initiates the foundation of libraries in the departments of oncological deseases in Lithuanian hospitals, spreads the information of psychological and physical assistance for the oncological patients, looks for private sponsors to help the deseased to improve their conditions of life.
